2、為什么要用接觸器?
你可能會(huì)問(wèn),為什么要用接觸器呢?直接把電機(jī)連接到PLC上去控制不行嗎?答案是否定的。
這是為什么呢?因?yàn)槟悴荒苤苯影岩粋€(gè)高壓電機(jī),連接到價(jià)格昂貴的PLC上,如果那樣做的話,一旦電機(jī)側(cè)有浪涌,就直接把PLC模塊打壞掉了。正確的做法是,在PLC與電機(jī)之間,加入一個(gè)接觸器進(jìn)行間接控制,也就能起到保護(hù)PLC的作用了。
這里的“間接”又是個(gè)什么意思呢?
其實(shí),所有的接觸器內(nèi),都會(huì)有一個(gè)低壓線圈。我們把PLC的輸出連接到這個(gè)低壓線圈上,而這個(gè)低壓線圈的工作電壓通常都是直流24伏的。只要這個(gè)低壓線圈通電,就會(huì)產(chǎn)生一個(gè)電磁場(chǎng),這個(gè)電磁場(chǎng)會(huì)吸合這里的三個(gè)觸點(diǎn),從而導(dǎo)通電源回路,使得電機(jī)啟動(dòng)。
需要注意的是,這里的線圈和觸點(diǎn)之間是沒(méi)有直接的物理連接的。觸點(diǎn)的通斷完全由線圈產(chǎn)生的電磁場(chǎng)進(jìn)行控制,當(dāng)線圈沒(méi)有通電時(shí),觸點(diǎn)斷開(kāi);當(dāng)PLC發(fā)出24伏的直流信號(hào)時(shí),線圈通電,觸點(diǎn)閉合,電機(jī)啟動(dòng)。

2. Why use a contactor?
Why use a contactor, you may ask? Can't we directly connect the motor to the PLC for control? The answer is no.
Why is this? Because you cannot directly connect a high-voltage motor to an expensive PLC, if you do that, if there is a surge on the motor side, it will directly damage the PLC module. The correct approach is to add a contactor for indirect control between the PLC and the motor, which can also protect the PLC.
What does' indirect 'mean here?
In fact, all contactors will have a low-voltage coil inside. We connect the output of the PLC to this low-voltage coil, and the working voltage of this low-voltage coil is usually 24V DC. As long as this low-voltage coil is energized, an electromagnetic field will be generated, which will attract the three contacts here, leading to the conduction of the power circuit and causing the motor to start.
It should be noted that there is no direct physical connection between the coil and the contact here. The on-off of the contact is completely controlled by the electromagnetic field generated by the coil. When the coil is not energized, the contact opens; When the PLC sends a 24V DC signal, the coil is energized, the contacts close, and the motor starts.
