2711-B5A8L1 Touch Screen operating terminal Human Machine Interface (HMI), or more colloquially known as Human Machine interface (HMI). This rugged, scalable, and compact electronics allows process operators and machine users to monitor, control, and analyze operations through the device's embedded display and input interface. By using 2711-B5A8L1 in applications, operations are simplified, control responses are centralized, system uptime is improved, and loss of productivity is prevented.
2711-B5A8L1 is a 24VDC powered HMI, as shown by the "L1" suffix in the device catalog number. The operator views the process through a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 256 ×128 pixels. It also has two (2) embedded communication ports for Data Highway Plus (DH+) communication and RS232 alarm printing functions. Data Highway Plus (DH+) enables high-speed data exchange via a 3-core cable with catalog number 1770-CD or a Belded 9463 communication cable.
