ProSoft PLX32-EIP-SIE Ethernet Protocol Converter Overview
ProSoft PLX32-EIP-SIE is an industrial communications gateway manufactured by ProSoft Technology to enable high-speed, two-way data transfer between Rockwell Automation PACs and Siemens S7 PACs. The gateway has two separate Ethernet ports that allow different protocols to reside in different subnets, allowing data to be passed between the two subnets without changing the IP address of each device.
Functional characteristics
Data Priority: Multiple I/O connections allow the user to set the Relative Priority Index (RPI) of the status and/or control data. This helps ensure that critical data is processed in a timely manner.

Technical details
