The IC670MDL740 is a positive logic discrete output module produced by GE Fanuc. The module is a universal output module that is installed along the Bus Interface Unit (BIU) to implement an extended I/O solution. Since the IC670MDL740 provides an output current of 0.5 amps per channel and a total of 4 amps per module at a voltage output range of 10-30 VDC and a nominal voltage of 24VDC, it is commonly used to excite output devices such as indicator lights, relay coils, solenoid actuation devices, and similar devices with low current ratings.
