Use of processing units

To link a processing unit to any header or row, generate a processing unit for that row. For example, if a processing unit is generated for a certain installation, a link is established between the processing unit and the installation. For more information, refer to the Maintenance Processing Unit.
Automatic identification of processing units is a feasible method, as users need to control the movement of materials with minimal keystrokes. To achieve this, a label can be attached to the processing unit. By defining the processing unit structure and scanning labels, warehousing activities during the receiving and shipping processes can be quickly and automatically executed.
You can perform warehouse processing according to the processing unit or according to the order line.
To better utilize the role of processing units, it is necessary to define some master data and set some parameters. You can specify how to use processing units for specific materials, warehouses, and/or business partners.
