1、 Product Overview
The Alstom LGPG111 Relay is a multifunctional digital generator comprehensive protection relay that integrates multiple generator protection functions and related layout logic into the same relay housing. This relay uses digital technology to convert analog signals into digital data through an analog-to-digital conversion circuit, and utilizes a powerful microprocessor for digital signal processing and execution of various protection algorithms.
2、 Main functions
The LGPG111 relay has multiple independent generator protection functions, including but not limited to:
Generator differential protection function (87G): used to protect against phase or three-phase stator winding faults.
Stator grounding fault protection function (51N): It operates in response to changes in current and is used for sensitive grounding of generators or transformers equipped with a resistor grounding.
Neutral point offset protection function (59N): It operates in response to voltage changes and is used to detect grounding faults in the stator winding of the generator.
Voltage related overcurrent protection function (51V): used for backup protection of the system.
Reverse power (32R) and forward low power (32L) protection functions: used to detect the loss of the prime mover.
Negative phase sequence protection function (46): used to detect continuous unbalanced load conditions.
Magnetic field fault protection (40): Reflecting generator demagnetization fault.
In addition, the relay also provides protection functions such as under voltage, over voltage, under frequency, over frequency, as well as additional auxiliary functions such as voltage balancing.
